Location: Southern Minnesota
Schedule: 7-10 days per month ongoing
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced surgeons to join our team on a locum tenens basis, with the potential for permanent placement. Currently, we have a direct locum/1099 surgeon supporting the program 7 days per month. The ideal candidates will have experience in bread and butter cases, including scopes. Experience with the DaVinci Robot is preferred, although we are willing to train interested candidates in DaVinci procedures.
Facility Details:
18-bed Critical Care Access Hospital
Partnerships with Sanford Health
Wound Care Clinic with Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers
Robust Vascular outreach clinic with VS from Sioux Falls
Robust ER with Full-time ER docs and Full-time hospitalists
Access to helicopter services for transfers within 15 minutes
4-5 Primary Care Physicians on staff, with plans to hire more
2 ORs with dedicated nurse and clinical staff including CRNAs, OR Techs, and circulating Nurses
Requirements:
Board-certified or board-eligible surgeon
Experience in bread and butter cases, scopes preferred
Experience with DaVinci Robot preferred, but willing to train
Active medical license in the state of Minnesota
