Locum General Surgery | Alaska | Flexible scheduling!

Position details:

  • Location: Alaska
  • Duration: 6 month locum assignment
  • Schedule: 24 Hour Call and OP Clinic Coverage
  • Shift: 8am-5pm (OP Clinic) 2-3 days/week
  • Call: 24 Hour ER call 8am-8am
  • Scope: General Surgery
  • Procedures: Catheters, chest tubes, Lumbar puncture, Pericardiocentesis, Tracheostomy, Paracentesis, Upper and lower GI endoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, Amputations, Management of trauma, Laparoscopic Procedures
  • EMR: Evident/Athena
  • Group: OP Clinic includes 1 other GS
  • Require: BC, Case logs from recent two years demonstrating 100 General Surgical procedures, license for AK (60-90 days to obtain)

Qualifications

• Require: BC, Case logs from recent two years demonstrating 100 General Surgical procedures, license for AK (60-90 days to obtain)
