Facility: Our section serves a 300+ bed tertiary referral center with a specialized foregut bariatric colorectal and pancreaticobiliary surgery and a nationally recognized cancer center operating the region’s only Cyberknife. The facility features an endoscopy unit and outpatient clinic with state-of-the-art endoscopy suites and motility lab. Opportunity: Trauma Program Medical Director opportunity to lead a practice of 7 surgeons and 10 advanced practitioners. BC/BE in Surgery and Fellowship in Critical Care or Acute Care Surgery required. Administrative duties include those of a Trauma Medical Director and clinical duties of a trauma/acute care surgeon caring for the following types of patients: trauma acute care surgery surgical critical care and burn. NP and PA coverage 7am-11pm daily. ACS-COT Level I Adult Trauma Center & Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. Research and teaching opportunities available.
