Position Highlights:
Full-time Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery opportunity
Split clinical responsibilities between Surgical Critical Care/ICU coverage and General Surgery
Provide critical care in a combined ICU caring for both surgical and medical patients
Opportunity to help build a multidisciplinary ICU team
Collaborate with surgeons, pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialists
Opportunity to participate in development of a Surgical Step-Down Unit
Participate in surgical resident and Physician Assistant education
Broad surgical environment with access to Orthopedic, Plastic and Reconstructive, Podiatric, Thoracic, Vascular, and Urologic Surgery
Access to advanced minimally invasive robotic surgery technology
Opportunities for clinical leadership, team development, and program development
Candidates with prior leadership or program development experience preferred
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Surgical Critical Care
Comfortable managing the full spectrum of critical care
Experience performing routine General Surgery procedures
Strong teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
Clinical leadership, team development, or program development experience preferred
