BE/BC - Cardiothoracic SurgeryJob Details:
- Join a hospital-employed practice with two existing CV Surgeons, located 53 miles from Charlotte, NC
- Position is open to both Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons in support of true program growth
- Call schedule is 1:3
- Experience preferred but not required
- Fellowship in transcatheter valve and complex aortic surgery preferred
- Perform a full scope of adult cardiothoracic and cardiovascular procedures
- Cardiovascular procedures include: advanced CABG techniques, endoscopic vein harvest, multi-arterial grafting, arrhythmia surgery, endovascular surgery, thoracic aortic surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, TEVAR, TAVR, and valvular repair/replacement
- General thoracic procedures include: EBUS, lobectomy, mediastinoscopy, navigational bronchoscopy, wedge resections, VATS, management of pericardial and pleural fluid collections, pneumothorax management, thoracic trauma management, and surgical treatment of emphysema and mediastinal diseases
- Open heart and minimally invasive valvular procedures include: aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair/replacement, tricuspid valve repair, combined valvular repair/replacement, and surgical closure of septal defects
