Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular (CVT) Surgeon for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Arlington, Virginia. This is an Acute Care Hospital role practicing the full spectrum of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery. Please see below for more information.
- Full spectrum of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
- Approximately one weekend of call per month, focused on cardiovascular surgery call
- Must be comfortable handling emergent cardiac cases
- 2 dedicated CVORs
- Excellent midlevel support provided
- Epic EMR
- 13 week assignment; start ASAP pending licensing/credentialing
Job Responsibilities
- Provide approximately one weekend of call per month
- Handle emergent cardiac cases
- Cover cardiovascular surgery call
- Utilize 2 dedicated CVORs with midlevel support
Qualifications
- Strong adult cardiovascular surgery experience
- A few years of experience required
- Active Virginia license required
- Epic EMR experience
