Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum services for an acute care facility in Missoula, MT. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for a dedicated call-only assignment with a highly competitive 24-hour call rate. Coverage is needed starting August 24, 2026 and is ongoing through December 31, 2026.

Schedule: 24-Hour Beeper Call Only. Requires a 1:2 call rotation every month ongoing.

Shift Rotation: Typical stretches include Thursday at 5:00 PM MST to Monday at 7:00 AM MST, alongside select weekday night call blocks (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Wednesday is a designated day off.

Setting: (Level 2 Trauma Center). Inpatient practice setting.

Work Details: Supervising CRNAs only (no resident supervision). Case mix features adult cardiothoracic surgery procedures.

EMR System: EPIC
Requirements:

Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) only.

State License: Active Montana medical license or IMLC required (Willing to License: YES via IMLC).

Experience/Credentials: Fellowship preferred. Must have a clean background with no disciplinary issues.
