This locum Cardiovascular Surgery opportunity is seeking a board-certified Cardiovascular Surgeon for hospital-based coverage over the July holiday weekend. The provider will primarily handle hospital rounding and cardiovascular surgical care, including emergency and on-call responsibilities as needed.
Dates / Schedule
- Coverage Dates:
- Friday, July 3rd at 5:00 PM through Monday, July 6th at 7:00 AM
- Schedule:
- 24-hour coverage
- Call Schedule:
- To be determined
Job Details / Responsibilities
- Hospital rounding and cardiovascular surgery coverage
- Practice setting: inpatient hospital
- EMR/documentation system: EPIC
- Required procedures include:
- Aneurysm repair
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
- Heart valve replacement surgeries
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery required
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular Surgery required
- Active South Carolina medical license required
- Providers needing to obtain a license will not be considered
- Active ACLS certification required
- Self-query NPDB report required at time of presentation
- Clean background/history required for temporary privileges consideration
