Position Overview:
- Start Date: May 2026 (ASAP)
- Schedule: Full-time coverage with 24-hour call (beeper call)
- Weekly onsite clinic: Wednesdays (7a–3p)
- Ongoing need
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Backup coverage for urgent cardiothoracic cases
- Coronary artery bypass (on/off pump)
- Valve repair/replacement
- Aneurysm repair and complex cardiac procedures
- LVAD management and acute cardiac care
Work Details:
- 5–8 patients per shift
- Support staff: 2 APPs + 3 MAs
- EMR: Epic
- Adult patient population
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active CA license required
- Clean background required for expedited privileges
- BLS required
