Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, including patient consultations, surgical planning, and follow-up management.
-
Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
-
Participate in on-call rotations, emergency surgeries, and program development initiatives to support the expansion of our cardiac services.
-
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all hospital protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
-
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular and/or Thoracic Surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS) or equivalent.

Fellowship trained in Cardiovascular and/or Thoracic Surgery from an accredited program.
-
Demonstrated experience in performing cardiac and thoracic surgeries, with a strong track record of successful outcomes.
-
Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) in the state of Florida.
-
Willingness to start in a locum tenens role with serious consideration for transitioning to permanent placement.
-
Experience in a high-volume cardiac surgery program, including exposure to pediatric cases.
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships in a growing program.
-
Competitive compensation package for both locum tenens and permanent positions, including relocation assistance for out-of-state candidates.
-
Flexible scheduling during the locum phase to accommodate your needs.
-
Comprehensive benefits for permanent hires, including health insurance, retirement plans, malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and paid time off.
-
State-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest surgical technology and a supportive environment for professional growth.
