Position Overview
A Board Eligible or Board Certified Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgeon is sought to join a growing surgical team in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with the goal of building a comprehensive Cardiac Surgery Center of Excellence. This opportunity offers the chance to practice within a highly advanced, tertiary-care environment supported by extensive subspecialty collaboration and state-of-the-art facilities.
Practice Highlights
* Join an established surgical team consisting of:
* Cardiothoracic surgeons
* Thoracic surgeons
* Vascular surgeons
* Extensive group support from a large cardiology division, including interventional and non-interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists
* Dedicated cardiovascular intensive care unit with advanced mechanical circulatory support, including VA and VV ECMO
* Newly renovated operating suite featuring approximately 28,000 square feet of modern surgical space
* Four dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms
* Advanced OR design elements including stainless steel walls, terrazzo flooring, and laminar airflow systems to enhance sterility and air quality
* Ceiling-mounted booms for lights and equipment to maximize open floor space
* Digitally integrated operating rooms with advanced inter-suite communication systems
* Enclosed skywalk connecting clinic space directly to the main operating rooms, allowing efficient workflow
