This facility is a well-established cardiothoracic surgery clinic that provides comprehensive cardiovascular surgical services to the community. The clinic is part of a larger healthcare system with a Level 2 trauma center, offering advanced surgical care and treatment options for cardiac patients throughout the region.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery, Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Surgery
Job Details:
• Full-time position covering a gap from 4/24/2024 to 7/18/2026
• Split responsibilities between hospital First Assisting and clinic hours
• Call requirements: 7-8 days per month (24-hour call on weekends, night call during weekdays after clinical hours)
• Clinic responsibilities: 2-4 days per month
• Surgical First Assist duties: 10-12 days per month
• Call duties include inpatient rounding and first assist callback
• Average of 8 patient encounters per shift
• Overtime available after 40 clinical hours per week
• Must be board certified
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must be licensed in Washington state or have IMLC
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
• Position requires previous cardiothoracic surgery experience
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
