The facility provides advanced cardiovascular surgical care to adult and geriatric populations with strong interdisciplinary support for complex cases.
Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Cardiovascular
Job Details:
• Provide hospital-based/rounding coverage for cardiovascular surgery services • Cover night and weekend shifts with 24-hour call responsibilities • Handle approximately 2 cases per day in state-of-the-art operating facilities • Call coverage required 2-3 weekends per month • Perform various vascular procedures including aneurysm repair, carotid artery endarterectomy, femoral bypass surgery, and fistula creation • Conduct endovascular and open surgical reconstruction for deep vein occlusions • Provide endovascular therapy for peripheral artery disease (PAD) and gangrene of the limbs • Treat various vascular conditions including vascular malformations, nutcracker syndrome, lymphedema, venous wounds, carotid stents, and varicose veins • Must be board certified in Vascular Surgery • Must have completed Vascular Surgery Fellowship • Maintain active Pennsylvania medical license or willingness to obtain one • Must have BLS and ACLS certifications • Clean malpractice history required • Local providers preferred • Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days • Travel expenses reimbursed including flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
