Opportunity: General Surgery

This is a locum tenens position covering weekend call (1-2 weekends per month, Friday through Sunday). This is strictly beeper call with approximately 7-10 patient encounters per shift.

Job Details:

• Weekend call coverage (Friday through Sunday), 1-2 weekends per month
• Strictly beeper call position
• Approximately 7-10 patient encounters per shift
• Active Texas medical license required (IMLC license not accepted)
• ATLS certification required
• Board eligible (within 5 years of residency) or board certified physicians only
• Credentialing process takes approximately 60 days
• Position start date: October 1, 2025 (ongoing)

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
