We are located in Alabama (1 hour west of Huntsville) and seeking BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a busy, hospital-employed practice that is well known throughout the northern Alabama region for their experience and expertise. A 263-bed facility was opened in 2018 and is the most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama. It is a certified Chest Pain Center and is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center of Excellence.
Position Details:
- Join 2 Vascular Surgeons and 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon
- State-of-the-art facility w/ Vascular & Open Heart ORs, 4 Cath Labs, and Hybrid Suite
- Excellent APP Support from skilled CV PA-Cs
- Work in Inpatient/Outpatient Settings
- O-1 and J-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty
Serves as a regional facility with more than 200 physicians on staff who represent more than 42 specialty areas of medicine. The 263-bed facility opened in 2018 offers the community's only open-heart surgery site, a complete line of women's and children's services and a complete line of medical and imaging services. As a Level III Trauma Center, serves as the primary referral center northwest Alabama, south-central Tennessee, and northeast Mississippi.
