Job description

Job description A breast surgery center at a hospital in Spokane, Washington needs a general surgeon with breast or surgical oncology training to cover February through October 2027. Pay is $350/hr, with overtime at $525/hr after 40 hours. The schedule is a mix of clinic and OR with no call: clinic Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, OR on Monday and Wednesday, 8am to 5pm. Full time is preferred, and 1 to 2 weeks a month will be considered. The EMR is Epic.

Job Responsibilities

See patients in a breast surgery clinic three days a week and operate two days a week. Provide outpatient and surgical breast care with no call responsibilities.

Qualifications

Board certified in General Surgery. Active Washington medical license. DEA. ACLS. Fellowship in surgical oncology or breast surgery preferred. Hospital privileges are required, and credentialing runs about 90 days.

Working Hours

Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday clinic. Monday and Wednesday OR. 8am to 5pm, 8 guaranteed hours a day. February 2027 through October 2027. Full time preferred, 1 to 2 weeks a month considered.
