Breast Surgery Opportunity in Ashland, KY
A leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible, Fellowship-Trained Breast Surgeon to join a growing Surgical Oncology program. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering a highly specialized practice with no general surgery call and strong multidisciplinary support.
Practice Details
Full-time employed Breast Surgery position
Join an established program alongside a fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon
100% breast surgery focus with no general surgery call
Hospital-based practice with outpatient clinic and surgical responsibilities
Typical schedule: 2–3 days in the OR and 2–3 days in clinic
Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Average 20+ patients per day
EPIC EMR system
Clinical Responsibilities
Perform a full range of breast surgical procedures
Evaluate and manage breast disease and breast cancer patients
Collaborate with medical and radiation oncology teams
Participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor board meetings
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered surgical oncology care
Support & Resources
Dedicated breast imaging support including fellowship-trained specialists
Multidisciplinary oncology team including medical and radiation oncology
Established referral network with strong and growing patient volumes
Service area of approximately 750,000 patients

MD or DO degree
Fellowship-trained in Breast Surgery
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
