Job description
CoxHealth is searching for a Bariatric Physician to join our stable, established surgical Bariatric Program that is poised for significant growth. This Program is MBSAQIP accredited. The ideal candidate will have documented expertise in bariatric surgery, with superior outcomes and experience in managing a successful bariatric program. Board Certification and completion of a Minimally Invasive fellowship required, Surgical and Endoscopic skill a must. Physician would join a growing team of surgeons and sub-specialty surgeons serving a large tertiary care center, Cox Medical Center South, in Springfield, Missouri.
New partners must be able to work well with various members of the medical community in a fast-paced hospital setting. Candidates must have excellent surgical skills as well as leadership and visionary characteristics, and experience managing a successful bariatric program. Some general surgery will be expected.
