The Huntsville Hospital Lung Center is seeking a BE/BC full-time Sleep Medicine physician to join our growing Sleep Medicine program. The clinic provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for the full spectrum of sleep disorders, including sleep-disordered breathing, movement disorders, insomnia, and hypersomnia.
The Huntsville Hospital Sleep Diagnostic Lab has three locations with a total of 20 beds and has been continually certified since the mid-1980s as a Sleep Center through the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The lab offers a full range of testing including nocturnal polysomnography, positive airway pressure titration, home sleep testing, MSLT and MWT testing, and actigraphy. End-tidal CO2 monitoring and designated rooms are offered for pediatric patients.
The hospital, staff ENT physicians, and Sleep Medicine clinic are also participating in a multi-disciplinary hypoglossal nerve stimulation implant
program. This is an opportunity to join an established, comprehensive Sleep Medicine program with experienced clinical and diagnostic support.
