Job description
We are seeking a Rheumatology Physician (MD/DO) to provide expert, high quality care to adult patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions. The physician will independently evaluate and manage patients across the continuum of outpatient care, develop individualized treatment plans, monitor therapeutic response, and contribute to clinical excellence and improved patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Perform in office minor procedures, including joint aspirations & injections.
Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate medications while monitoring efficacy and adverse effects.
Collaborate with internal specialties & external referring providers to coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
Review & interpret laboratory and imaging results and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings.
Maintain accurate & timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Participate in a shared outpatient call schedule with no inpatient responsibilities.
Contribute to clinical program development & quality improvement initiatives.
Educate & counsel patients regarding disease processes, lifestyle modifications & treatment strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Rheumatology experience required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
2 to 3 years of physician experience preferred
Current active, unrestricted Oregon medical license or ability to obtain
Current DEA license
Strong technical, computer & EMR skills
Excellent problem solving & multitasking abilities
Strong communication skills & ability to work effectively as part of a team

40 hours per week
