Are you a Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist seeking a highly structured, lifestyle-friendly permanent practice in central Wyoming? A regional hospital health system in Casper, Wyoming is seeking a full-time general rheumatologist for a permanent placement starting January 1, 2027. Featuring a four-day clinical workweek, dedicated administrative time, light telephone call obligations, and 29 annual time-off days, this opportunity offers an exceptional balance of clinical autonomy and lifestyle flexibility.
The Opportunity
Step into an established medical center setting, diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of complex autoimmune and rheumatologic disorders across a growing regional patient population.

Clinical Scope: Deliver outpatient-focused rheumatology care, including:

Diagnosing, evaluating, and managing autoimmune, inflammatory, systemic, and musculoskeletal conditions

Formulating disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) and biologic therapy treatment plans

Managing outpatient clinic visits, patient follow-ups, and specialty consultations

The Schedule & Shift Structure: Standard full-time practice layout operating across 46 working weeks annually:

4 clinical days and 1 administrative day weekly

29 annual time-off days plus 5 CME days

Call Obligations: Telephone-only call as assigned (zero heavy in-house weekend/night coverage requirements).

Practice Setting: Primarily outpatient subspecialty clinic integrated with hospital-level services.
Candidate Requirements
Interested candidates must have residency and fellowship training, hold state licensing eligibility, and possess active DEA registration.

Degree & Board Status: MD or DO; Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Rheumatology.

Training: ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship.

Licensure & Registration: Unrestricted Wyoming State Medical License (or eligibility to obtain); active Federal DEA registration.
