Join a leading, partner-backed healthcare provider in west-central Ohio offering a permanent, high-priority Rheumatology position. Working within an expansive 25+ facility regional network, this role focuses on the advanced diagnosis, medical management, and long-term care of autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases across a prosperous 10-county catchment area.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor highly personalized, long-term treatment plans for complex chronic inflammatory and connective tissue diseases.
• Perform and accurately interpret specialized diagnostic testing and musculoskeletal imaging modalities within the clinic space.
• Manage a balanced clinical workflow providing primary outpatient specialty clinic services alongside targeted inpatient consultations as requested.
• Maintain efficient, thorough, and compliant electronic medical documentation for all longitudinal patient care encounters.
Qualifications
• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Rheumatology.
• Active Ohio state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain Ohio licensure).
• Strong clinical acumen in modern biologic therapies and advanced rheumatologic diagnostic guidelines.
• Ability to meet all medical staff credentialing and hospital consultation privileges.
Working Hours
• Primarily focused on outpatient clinic hours with structured daytime inpatient consultation rounds as needed.
• No heavy surgical call requirements, offering an exceptional work/life balance.
Skills
• Development and monitoring of modern systemic biologic and immunosuppressive treatment regimens.
• Interpretation of specialized rheumatologic lab panels and diagnostic imaging.
• High-efficiency multi-setting clinical workflow management (clinic and inpatient rounds).
• Empathetic, patient-centered communication tailored for patients managing lifelong chronic pain and illness.
