Rheumatologist

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a specialist to join their team as they open a brand new Metabolic Center to provide multi-disciplinary care. This is a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility without the need to build a patient panel from scratch. The position focuses on providing care for endocrinology-related conditions in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient care to patients referred from endocrinology.
• No hospital call required; handle telephone issues as needed, with a Monday to Friday schedule.
• Work alongside the owner, an endocrinologist, and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for support in a brand new metabolic center.
• Maintain a normal office schedule: 32 clinical hours per week and 8 administrative hours.
• Conduct 8 hours on Monday/Tuesday, 6 hours on Wednesday/Thursday, and 5 hours on Friday, seeing 3-4 patients per hour with 15-20 minute appointments.
• Participate in weekly conferences each Friday afternoon to discuss cases, wrapping up the day by 3 pm.
• Utilize eCW and have the support of Medical Assistants (MAs).

Requirements

• Fellowship training in Rheumatology.
• Board Eligibility or Board Certification Required.
• New York License Required.
• Russian Language Skills Preferred, Not Required (sufficient English-speaking patients available).
• New Fellows Graduating in the Next 12 Months Encouraged to Apply!
