Academic Rheumatology Opening Rochester, MN
Full Time | Academic Rheumatology
Seeking BC/BE Rheumatologist to join a nationally recognized academic Rheumatology practice focused on complex autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
Position Highlights:
Approximately 70% clinical effort with opportunities for academic growth
Predominantly outpatient practice managing complex, quaternary-level rheumatic diseases
Participate in specialized clinics including:
- Spondyloarthritis
- Myositis
- Systemic autoimmune diseases (Lupus, Scleroderma, Sjögren's Syndrome)
Approximately 3-4 weeks of inpatient consult service annually with limited call
Collaborative multidisciplinary care model designed to optimize workflow and reduce administrative burden
Opportunities to participate in practice innovation, digital health, AI initiatives, and quality improvement
Academic Opportunities:
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and rheumatology fellows
Participate in fellowship education and curriculum development
Opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activity
Support for professional development and academic advancement
Qualifications:
MD or DO
Completion of an accredited Rheumatology fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
Eligible for Minnesota medical licensure
Interest in complex autoimmune disease, education, and academic medicine preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $208,000 - $708,168+
