Job description
This Rheumatology Locum Tenens position is located in Alaska.
Location: South Central Alaska (Inquire for hospital location)
Duration: ASAP – 6-12 month locums (will assess needs mid-Dec 2026)
Reason for coverage: 2.0 FTE Physician openings
Schedule: Full-time preferred (1-4 weeks per month)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Call: N/A
Patient volume: 10-14 patients scheduled/day, 4 new patients
Scope: Rheumatology – outpatient only
EMR: Cerner with access to Clinical AI Agent
Hospital: 176 bed, Level II trauma center
Group/support: RN Case Manager, CMA and Centralized Scheduling Team
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified RHUM, any active state license accepted, Must have clean NPDB, no background/license issues, no MP settlements
Rates: Very Competitive (8 hour guarantee)
