Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Medicine and SSM Health are seeking a Division Director of Rheumatology to lead one of the Midwest's most established rheumatology programs. The role sits in the Department of Internal Medicine, SLU's largest department.
Director of Rheumatology:
- 5 faculty, with support to double the team as demand grows
- 3 St. Louis locations and 7,500 patients annually, with room to expand across SSM Health's 24 hospitals in four states
- Established in 1955, with a dedicated lab for advanced immunologic testing
- Fellowship ranked among the national top 25, with adult, pediatric and combined Med-Peds training
The incoming Division Director will:
- Lead clinical excellence, quality and program growth across the enterprise
- Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty
- Strengthen fellowship training, clinical investigation, and scholarship
- Build partnerships across SLU, SLUCare and SSM Health
- Raise the Division's regional and national reputation
