INTERNAL MEDICINE – RHEUMATOLOGY
Employment Type: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a rheumatology specialist to join a well-established outpatient clinic supported by advanced practice professionals and clinical staff. The role focuses on the evaluation and management of rheumatic and autoimmune conditions within a multidisciplinary environment. The position supports a growing patient population and collaborates closely with colleagues across medical and surgical specialties.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and/or Rheumatology.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Training or experience in Rheumatology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Idaho.
• Interest in outpatient rheumatologic care within a multidisciplinary team.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to diagnose and manage a broad range of rheumatologic disorders.
• Skill in collaborating with advanced practice providers and clinical support staff.
• Commitment to patient-centered specialty care.
• Effective communication within a multispecialty environment.
• Capacity to support program growth and evolving clinical needs.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Outpatient rheumatology practice supported by advanced practice professionals.
• Embedded pharmacy services with on-site infusion capabilities.
• Access to modern imaging technology adjacent to the clinic.
• Collaboration with a wide network of medical and surgical specialties.
• Opportunities for involvement in medical education activities.
