We are seeking a Board Certified Rheumatologist for a 6-month locums assignment starting August 1, 2026. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding with strong clinical support.
📍 Position Highlights:
- Start: August 1, 2026
- Length: 6 months
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p
- Call: Nights + 1:7 weekend rotation
- Volume: 16–18 patients/day
- EMR: EPIC
🩺 Clinical Scope:
- Outpatient clinic (8a–2:30p)
- Inpatient rounding (2:30p–5p)
- Diagnosis and management of rheumatologic conditions
- Interpretation of diagnostics (MRI, ultrasound)
- Long-term treatment planning
- Optional procedures (joint injections/aspirations)
👥 Support:
- Dedicated RN + MA
✅ Requirements:
- Board Certified Rheumatology
- BLS & ACLS
- Active license preferred (IMLC accepted)
- Active DEA
✈️ Travel:
- Full travel coverage provided (airfare, lodging, rental car)
