Rheumatology Opportunity in Ashland, KY
UK King's Daughters, a 455-bed regional healthcare system serving Kentucky and Ohio, is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join their established and collegial practice. This position emphasizes work-life balance and offers excellent support and compensation.
Practice Details
Full-time employed Rheumatology position
Join an established practice with 1 Rheumatologist and 3 Advanced Providers
Focus on outpatient Rheumatology care, no rounding at other facilities
EPIC electronic medical records system
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions
Provide outpatient consultations and follow-ups
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed
Maintain accurate medical records and patient care documentation
Support & Resources
Strong referral network from 20 regional hospitals and 40+ primary care clinics
Growing patient population of approximately 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio
Modern facilities on the main campus
Compensation & Benefits
Three-year salary guarantee of $315,000 plus wRVU productivity

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available
