A growing outpatient rheumatology practice in Long Island is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist (MD/DO) to join its expanding team. This is a strictly outpatient role offering clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time), and long-term financial growth with partnership potential. Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations for rheumatic and autoimmune diseases
• Diagnose and manage rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, scleroderma, ankylosing spondylitis, and other musculoskeletal disorders
• Interpret laboratory results and imaging studies related to rheumatologic conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacotherapy, biologics, and lifestyle modifications
• Provide ongoing follow-up care and monitor treatment response
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists for coordinated patient management
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient clinical experience preferred
• Active or eligible for New York State medical license
• Strong diagnostic and clinical expertise in autoimmune diseases
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills

Working Hours

• Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time options
• 8-hour shifts
• In-person, outpatient-only setting
