Job description
A facility in Michigan is seeking a Locum Rheumatologist to provide outpatient clinic coverage with hospital-based call, starting as soon as credentialed (anticipated April start due to timelines).
Position Highlights:

Setting: Office clinic + hospital call

Schedule: Clinic 4×10s or 5×8s

Call: 24-hour hospital call, 2 weeks per month (1:2 ratio)

Coverage: ASAP – Ongoing (current vacancy)

Patient Volume:

Clinic: 16–18 patients/day

Hospital: ~1 case/day

Procedures: Joint aspirations & corticosteroid injections

EMR: Epic
-
Trauma Level: II
-
Support: MA, RN, Front Desk
Credentialing:

Estimated 90–120 days
Travel:
-
Local preferred; travel reimbursed if needed (flight, hotel, rental car, mileage)
Requirements (ALL REQUIRED):

Board Certified Rheumatology
-
Fellowship trained
-
Active Michigan license
-
BLS
-
Ability to perform joint injections/aspirations

NPDB Self-Query (pulled within 30 days)
