A hospital system under 1hr to Ann Arbor, MI is in need of a Board Certified Rheumatologist to treat adult and geriatric patients in clinic, while also covering 2 weeks of call per month.
We are offering a competitive hourly rate along with daily on-call compensation, and an hourly call back rate. Medical Malpractice provided. Travel Reimbursement to include airfare, rental car, lodging, or mileage reimbursement.
- Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts or 5×8-hour shifts (Clinic) Monday-Friday
- Call Requirements: 24-hour hospital call, Tuesday–Monday, 2 weeks per month (1:2 call ratio)
- Hospital size: 400+Bed Tertiary Medical Center, Level II Trauma Center
- Coverage Duration: ASAP – Ongoing due to vacancy
- Patient Load:
Office/Clinic: 16–18 patients per day
Hospital-based: 1 case per day - Support:1 rheumatologist plus support staff (MA, RN, Front Desk)
- EHR: EPIC
- Joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections

Qualifications
-Fellowship Training
-MI License and DEA
-BLS
-Familiarity with EPIC EHR
-Comfortable performing joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections
