Job Responsibilities
Diagnostic aspiration and analysis by light and compensated polarized light microscopy of synovial fluid
arthrocentesis and joint injections;
excision of skin and subcutaneous tumors, nodules, and lesions;
peripheral nerve blocks;
interpretation of electrocardiograms;
synovial fluid crystal analysis
biopsies of tissues relevant to the diagnosis of rheumatic diseases;
bone and joint imaging techniques;
bone density measurements
