Facility in Hanover, PA seeking Lucrative Rheumatology Locums in Hanover, PA
Rates $230-275/hr based on the availability and experience.
Opportunity Highlights

Consistent Schedule: Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Flexible Staffing: We are open to one full-time provider or two providers who can each cover opposite weeks on a consistent basis.

Balanced Workload: Your daily work will include 36 patient-facing hours per week, with an average of 12-16 outpatient visits per day.

Collaborative Environment: You will supervise two onsite PAs and work with them on a variety of tasks, including in-basket support and patient questions. You will not work solo.

Minimal Call: You will take after-hours call for outpatient and consult calls (0-5 calls per month), and respond to hospital consults (0-5 per month) via telephone during office hours.

EMR System: The facility uses Epic for all charting.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive rheumatology services, including new and return patient visits. New patient slots are 40-60 minutes, and return patient slots are 20 minutes.

Supervise and answer questions from two onsite APPs.

Provide in-basket support, including administrative and clinical tasks.

Perform joint injections.

Handle minimal after-hours call and hospital consults via telephone.

Provider Requirements

Education: MD or DO.

Board Status: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Rheumatology.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Licensure: An active Pennsylvania State License is required. We will also consider candidates with an IMLC.

Certifications: BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
