Job description Outpatient Rheumatologist Opportunity Greater Lowell, MA An established, physician-led, multispecialty neuroscience group in the Merrimack Valley is seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist (MD or DO) to join their growing outpatient practice. This group, recognized for its collaborative model and long-standing community presence, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a comprehensive, patient-centered care team. Position Highlights: * Outpatient-only practice no hospital call responsibilities * Serve a diverse and growing patient population from locations in Chelmsford and Westford, MA * Flexible schedule: Full-time or part-time options available * Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM * Shared practice call: 1:2, limited to critical lab follow-ups (3 6 calls/month) * Nurse Practitioner support to ensure clinical efficiency and improve work-life balance * On-site access to neurology subspecialists and other disciplines for truly integrated care Scope of Practice: The Rheumatology Division evaluates and treats a broad range of conditions including: * Rheumatoid and osteoarthritis * Systemic inflammatory arthritis * Joint and musculoskeletal pain syndromes * Systemic sclerosis and vasculitis * Autoimmune diseases and bone disorders Why Join This Team? * Part of a larger integrated health system with access to over 700 providers and multiple subspecialists * Collaborative, supportive environment committed to patient comfort, continuity of care, and quality outcomes * Innovative practice with future-focused goals including the development of a Memory Center and neuro-immunology program * Strong clinical infrastructure with dedicated support for EMR documentation, care coordination, and administrative tasks Requirements: * MD or DO, or foreign equivalent * Board Certification in Rheumatology * Eligible for Massachusetts licensure and hospital credentialing About the Community: Located just 30 minutes from Boston, the Greater Lowell area offers a high quality of life, excellent public schools, access to top universities, and vibrant cultural diversity.
