Indiana University Health Southern Indiana Physicians is looking for an additional Rheumatologist to join our collaborative and well-established team of two Physicians and a strong support staff. Build your successful practice in the beautiful and desirable suburb of Bloomington, Indiana.

In December 2021, we unveiled the Indiana University Regional Academic Health Center. This 557-million-dollar, state-of-the-art campus serves patients in the south-central region, and is directly affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine.

Opportunity Details:

  • Full-time outpatient practice
  • Four-day work week with (36 hours) plus admin time (4 hours)
  • Shared limited call offering work-life balance
  • Teaching options; work with medical students, residents and fellows if desired

Qualifications:

  • American Board Certification - Internal Medicine & Rheumatology Fellowship required
  • J1 (2025) and H1b sponsorship available

Hospital Overview

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center and a cancer infusion center.

At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
