Company History

Indiana University Health is a regional leader in healthcare and was created when three Indianapolis hospitals - IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals and Riley Hospital for Children merged in 1997.

IU Health Methodist Hospital & Riley Hospital for Children have rich histories of medical breakthroughs & pioneering innovative care, dating back to 1908 & 1924, respectively.

The healthcare system is still based in Indianapolis and has grown to include 16 other hospitals throughout the state, including Bloomington, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, & Muncie, IN.
