Job description
Locums Radiology coverage in New York with weekday, daytime reads and no call. The work is adult chest imaging, primarily inpatient plain films, with flexibility on how many weeks per month you cover.
Highlights
- No call requirements.
- Monday through Friday, daytime schedule.
- Flexible commitment, open to 1 to 4 weeks per month.
- Chest imaging heavy mix, mostly plain film with some CT lung studies.
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient reads.
- Adults only.
- Volume is presented at a level you are comfortable with.
Schedule
- Weekday coverage, Monday through Friday.
- Scheduled hours are 8a to 5p.
- No call.
- Ongoing locums need while the team works toward a permanent hire.
Cases and Procedures
- All chest imaging.
- Approximately 20 percent CTs, including LungCT, CT lung nodules, and CT lung cancer screening.
- No procedures.
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO.
- Board Certified in Radiology.
- New York medical license required, will not wait for license.
- BLS and DEA required.
