Locums | Interventional Radiology | Robbinsdale, MN (any state license accepted) Why This Role

  • Any state license accepted; MN license preferred
  • Board eligible welcome within 5 years of residency
  • General IR + cerebral thrombectomy focus
  • No diagnostic radiology reads
  • Flexible ongoing coverage; 2+ weeks/month preferred
Assignment Details Start/end: ASAP once credentialed - ongoing Schedule: 8a-5p hospital coverage with overnight pager call; minimum 2 weeks/month preferred Coverage type: Inpatient IR + Call Call: Beeper call, 1:2 ratio; approximately 1-2 after-hours procedural callbacks/week Weekend coverage: As needed Volume: Approximately 10 cases/day weekdays; 6 cases/day weekends Setting: Adult inpatient hospital; Level I trauma and thrombectomy-capable stroke center Support: Multiple IR physicians anticipated, with approximately 2 covering concurrently EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~60 days; temporary privileges available Clinical Details General interventional radiology procedures Cerebral embolectomy / mechanical thrombectomy required Moderate sedation required Hospital-based inpatient IR coverage After-hours emergency IR procedures Adult patient population No aneurysm management required No diagnostic radiology interpretation anticipated No teaching or leadership responsibilities Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology within 5 years of residency Interventional Radiology fellowship required Minimum 2 years of clinical practice experience License: Any state license accepted; MN license preferred ACLS required Active DEA Cerebral embolectomy / thrombectomy proficiency required General IR and moderate sedation experience required Epic experience preferred Availability for at least 2 weeks/month preferred Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
