Locums | Interventional Radiology | Kearney, NE (any state license considered; NE or IMLC preferred)
Why This Role
Nebraska license or IMLC preferred
No call or weekends
Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Defined November–December coverage blocks
Level II trauma center with dedicated IR support
Assignment Details
Start: November 2, 2026
End: December 25, 2026, for currently listed coverage
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
Call: None
Weekends: None
Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology
Facility: Level II trauma center, approximately 175 beds
Commitment: Full-time coverage requested; availability for individual blocks to be reviewed
Support: Dedicated technologists and nursing staff
APP Support: PA assists with barium studies, lumbar punctures, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: ASAP; exact timeframe to be confirmed

Clinical Details
Broad-based Interventional Radiology practice
Spine procedures, including pain management injections and vertebral augmentation
Kyphoplasty
Port and central venous line placements
Solid organ biopsies and drainages
Oncology interventions and image-guided therapies
Breast biopsies
IR services supporting Level II trauma designation
Collaborative practice with technologist, nursing, and PA support
Requirements
Board certification required
MD or DO
Nebraska medical license or IMLC highly preferred
Active DEA, if required for assigned procedures
Broad Interventional Radiology procedural experience
Comfortable providing hospital-based IR coverage
Availability for November–December weekday blocks
Clean professional and malpractice history preferred
