Locums | Breast Imaging Radiology | Detroit, MI (active MI license, BC)
Why This Role
No call
Flexible 2–3-day workweek
Ongoing part-time coverage
Outpatient breast imaging only
Established clinical support team
Assignment Details
Start: ASAP; ongoing
Schedule: 2–3 days per week, 2–4 weeks per month
Hours: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Coverage type: Regular clinical hours with no call
Onsite coverage required; no telehealth
Volume: Approximately 40–50 patients per shift
Setting: Outpatient breast imaging clinic
Support: 2 RNs, 1 MA, 2 office staff, technologists, surgeons, and oncology teams
Resident teaching required
Cerner
Change Healthcare PACS with a planned transition to Sectra
Approximately 90 days for credentialing
Temporary privileges are not available
Clinical Details
Screening and diagnostic mammography
Breast ultrasound and MRI
Image-guided biopsies
Breast localizations and aspirations
Same-day diagnostic workups
BI-RADS and MQSA requirements
Approximately 45–55% screening, 25–35% diagnostic, and 15–25% procedures
Direct patient communication regarding results and procedures
Requirements
Board certification in Radiology required
Breast Imaging fellowship training required
Active MI license required
BLS required
MQSA qualification required
