Locum tenens general radiology coverage at a Level II trauma center of 200+ beds in Newark, Ohio, east of Columbus. This is a busy, fast-paced department with no night call, Monday through Sunday. Radiologists start onsite so the group can confirm comfort with the workflow and reading speed, and once the fit is right, a weekend-only remote arrangement is possible. Weekday work is onsite only. The hospital sits in a nationally designated Health Professional Shortage Area, relies on locum physicians, and has been named one of Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work. Pay is $3,364.90 a day, and travel and lodging are covered.
Job Responsibilities
- Cover a case mix of roughly 50% X-ray, 30% CT, 10% MR, and 10% ultrasound
- Work onsite on weekdays, with a weekend remote option after the onsite ramp
Qualifications
- Active Ohio license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- DEA not required, but a plus
- Mammography is a bonus, not required
