Locums | Breast Radiology | Detroit, MI (MI license required) Why This Role

  • 2-3 days/week
  • No call
  • Breast Imaging only
  • Flexible 2-4 weeks/month
  • Daytime 8am-4pm schedule
Assignment Details Start/end: As soon as credentialed; ongoing Schedule: 2-3 days/week, 8am-4pm; 2-4 weeks/month Coverage type: On-site Breast Imaging; no call Volume: ~40-50 patients/shift Setting: Outpatient Breast Radiology Support: Technologists, nurses, surgeons and oncology teams PACS: Change Healthcare; transitioning to Sectra EMR: Cerner Credentialing: ~90 days; no temporary privileges Clinical Details Required scope: Screening and diagnostic mammography Required scope: Breast ultrasound and breast MRI Required scope: Image-guided biopsies, localizations and aspirations Screening mammography: ~45-55% of workload; ~35-40 per shift Diagnostics: ~25-35% of workload Procedures: ~15-25% of workload Strong knowledge of BI-RADS and MQSA requirements Must be comfortable with same-day diagnostic workups and direct patient communication Requirements Board certified Radiologist Breast Imaging fellowship training required License: Active MI license required BLS Local candidates only Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided
