A hospital in the Billings, Montana area, a Level I trauma center, needs a diagnostic radiologist for ongoing locum coverage. $350 an hour, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with no nights, no weekends, and no call. Travel and lodging are covered. The client will consider telehealth coverage if you have availability to cover the shifts needed.

Job Responsibilities

High-volume, multi-modality reading across CT, X-ray, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and PET, with some OB ultrasound. No mammography. You cover both inpatient and outpatient imaging, and you interpret for regional sites on a shared PACS. Certified technologists and sonographers are available for every modality. Cerner EMR. Fellowship training is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology. A Montana license or an IMLC letter of qualification. BLS. Credentialing takes about 90 days and temporary privileges are not available, so apply early.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, 4 weeks a month. No nights, no weekends, no call. Start as soon as credentialing clears, ongoing.
