A hospital in the Newark, OH area needs a diagnostic radiologist for ongoing coverage. $3,364.90 per day, no call, no nights, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm onsite, with optional weekend days. Board certified or board eligible candidates welcome.

Job Responsibilities

General diagnostic radiology at a busy Level II trauma center with 200+ beds. Modality mix is roughly 50% plain film, 30% CT, 10% MRI, and 10% ultrasound. Expect about 60 to 70 wRVUs on a weekday and 70 to 80 on a weekend day (10-hour days). Mammography is a bonus, MRI a plus, neither required. Epic EMR, GE PACS/RIS, PowerScribe voice recognition. You start onsite so the team can see your workflow and reading speed. Once you are comfortable and the fit is right, a weekend-only remote arrangement is possible. Weekday coverage is onsite only.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Ohio license preferred, and the client will consider licensing the right candidate. DEA not required, a plus if you hold one.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, onsite. Optional Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 6pm. No night call, Monday through Sunday. Part time at about two weeks a month.
