Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician for long-term locum tenens coverage at a remote radiology facility associated with an acute care hospital located in Charleston, WV.
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block starting ASAP, with an ongoing contract initially for one year.
This assignment includes remote radiology coverage, interpretation of general radiology studies across multiple modalities, and no call.

Requirements
- Board Certification required
- Active West Virginia medical license required; no willingness to license indicated
- BLS required
- Must be able to actively read and interpret the selected modalities with current experience
- Must meet the productivity expectation of approximately 70 wRVUs per shift
- Must be credentialed at a minimum of two client facilities
- Must maintain a minimum of 40 working hours per month
- Must maintain three months of scheduled shifts throughout the contract
- Must complete and submit the Modality Checklist
- Must have an ethernet connection for remote work; a Wi-Fi dongle may be arranged if needed
Additional Details:
- Contract length: Initially one year, ongoing
- Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
- Productivity is actively monitored, with an expectation of approximately 70 wRVUs per shift. Providers falling below the required standard may receive a 15-day cancellation notice. The contract may be reinstated if productivity improves during that period.
- Compensation follows the client's remote pay structure: base pay plus additional payment per wRVU. The exact base and per-wRVU amounts should be confirmed.
- No overtime; holiday rate includes an additional $125/hour.
- The client may take a few days to up to one month to make an offer, depending on workload and outstanding questions.
- Name clear with NPI; interviews are generally not preferred.
- Candidates must provide their current licensed locations, preferred shifts, modalities they can interpret, willingness to obtain additional licenses, and anticipated contract commitment.
