Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,270-$7,420
• Setting: Remote overnight emergency radiology coverage
• Location: Detroit, MI 48201 — a vibrant, centrally located area with a strong medical community, rich arts scene, dining, and established healthcare network
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 28 weeks
• Coverage Needed: 2-3 weeks per month; candidates able to cover at least 1 week per month will be considered
• Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM EST

• Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

Job Requirements

• Physician (MD) with board certification in Radiology
• At least 1 year of post-training diagnostic radiology experience
• Experience interpreting mixed emergency department cases
• Comfortable providing resident teaching during overnight coverage
• Clean malpractice history required
• Recent NPDB report submitted within the last 30 days
• DEA waiver required
• BLS not required for remote work, per posting
• Ability to submit case logs with bid
• Fellowship training preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight diagnostic radiology reads for emergency department cases
• Interpret approximately 80-130 mixed cases per 8-hour shift
• Support and teach residents working overnight
• Deliver accurate, efficient interpretations to help guide patient care
• Use PACS, EMR, and dictation systems effectively
• Maintain strong documentation and timely communication with the care team
• Submit required credentialing and compliance materials promptly
