An established, physician-owned radiology practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist for fully remote evening coverage supporting hospitals and imaging facilities throughout Florida's Space Coast.

This opportunity combines remote practice, predictable block scheduling, W-2 or 1099 flexibility, and substantial time away from work.

The radiologist will interpret a high-volume, community-based worklist consisting primarily of emergency department and inpatient imaging.

Immediate clinical volume is available within an established regional radiology practice.

Job Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities
Interpret diagnostic imaging examinations during assigned evening shifts
Provide accurate, timely, and clinically actionable reports
Prioritize emergency and time-sensitive examinations
Review relevant clinical information and prior imaging
Communicate critical and unexpected findings directly to treating physicians
Collaborate remotely with referring physicians, technologists, hospital teams, and fellow radiologists
Maintain appropriate turnaround times
Complete required clinical documentation
Follow patient-safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Participate in quality-assurance and patient-safety initiatives
Provide optional additional coverage as mutually agreed upon

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
Eligible to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Florida medical license
Ability to satisfy hospital credentialing and medical-staff requirements
Broad diagnostic interpretation capabilities including radiography, CT, ultrasound, and MRI
Comfortable managing a high-volume ED and inpatient worklist
Strong clinical judgment and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to communicate urgent and critical findings promptly
Reliable home-reading environment and connectivity appropriate for remote diagnostic interpretation
Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to clinical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology or a subspecialty
Emergency Radiology experience
Hospital-based radiology experience
High-volume evening or overnight coverage experience
Experience in a centralized or multi-hospital remote-reading environment
Active Florida medical license
Experience with productivity-based radiology environments
Limited Nuclear Medicine interpretation experience

Working Hours

Choose from predictable block scheduling:

7 evenings on / 7 days off
7 evenings on / 14 days off

Available shifts:

3:00 PM–11:00 PM ET
4:00 PM–12:00 AM ET

The schedule provides substantial blocks of time away from clinical work.

Optional additional coverage may be available.
