A respected Florida healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for an onsite locum tenens assignment in the Brevard County, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a radiologist comfortable with general diagnostic imaging, mammography procedures, and light interventional radiology, while working in a collaborative hospital environment with a predictable weekday schedule.
Position Highlights

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- No Call Requirements
- No Weekend Coverage
Clinical Responsibilities
The selected physician will provide diagnostic imaging interpretation and procedural coverage across a broad range of modalities, including:
- X-Ray
- CT
- MRI
- Ultrasound
- Fluoroscopy
Mammography & Breast Procedures
Candidates must be comfortable performing and interpreting:
- Screening Mammography
- Diagnostic Mammography
- Needle Breast Biopsies
- Stereotactic Breast Biopsies
- Related breast imaging procedures
Light Interventional Radiology Procedures
Experience with the following procedures is required:
- Thyroid Biopsies
- Bone Biopsies
- Lung Biopsies
- Liver Biopsies
- Renal Biopsies
- CT-Guided Procedures
- Ultrasound-Guided Procedures
- Drain Placements
- Abscess Drainages
- Chest Tubes
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Lumbar Punctures
- Diagnostic Lumbar Punctures
- Myelograms
- Epidural Procedures
Volume & Technology
- Daily Volume: Approximately 90-100 studies per shift
- Productivity Expectation: 60-70 wRVUs per day
- EMR: Epic
- PACS: Merge
- Dictation: Fluency
Qualifications
Required:
- Board Certified in Radiology
- Active Florida Medical License
- Active DEA Registration
- Ability to perform Mammography Procedures
- Experience with General Diagnostic Radiology and Light IR Procedures
- Self-Query NPDB Report dated within 30 days of offer
