Job description
An established physician-owned radiology practice is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist for a fully remote evening coverage opportunity.
This position offers an exceptional combination of high earning potential, flexible employment options, predictable block scheduling, and geographic freedom.
The ideal candidate is a broad diagnostic radiologist comfortable interpreting emergency department and inpatient imaging while maintaining excellent turnaround times, clinical accuracy, and communication with referring teams.
Physicians may choose between a W-2 employment structure with benefits or a 1099 independent contractor arrangement based on their professional goals.
Job Responsibilities
Provide accurate, timely, and clinically actionable reports
Prioritize emergency and time-sensitive examinations
Review clinical history and prior imaging studies
Communicate critical and unexpected findings to treating physicians
Collaborate remotely with:
Referring physicians
Technologists
Hospital teams
Fellow radiologists
Maintain appropriate turnaround times and diagnostic quality
Follow patient safety, documentation, and regulatory standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Provide optional additional coverage as desired
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license
Eligible for hospital credentialing and medical staff privileges
Broad diagnostic interpretation experience including:
Radiography
CT
Ultrasound
MRI
Comfortable managing emergency department and inpatient worklists
Strong clinical judgment and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Reliable remote reading environment with appropriate connectivity
Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology subspecialty
Emergency Radiology experience
Hospital-based radiology experience
Evening/overnight coverage experience
Multi-hospital remote reading experience
Active Florida medical license
Limited Nuclear Medicine interpretation experience
Working Hours
